Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a naturally occurring chemical found in hemp plants. It’s currently being thoroughly studied by researchers all over the world to determine it's potential health benefits.
CBD is defined as a phyto-cannabinoid, which means that it’s produced by plants. This chemical has a similar structure as anandamide, which is a cannabinoid produced by processes within the human body.
All cannabis is hemp. Not all hemp is cannabis. Hemp only becomes cannabis when it has more than 0.2% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in its chemical makeup.
While they are from the same species, their appearance and compound make-up are different.
Cannabis contains a natural high amount of THC and CBD, whereas industrial hemp contains almost no THC but plenty of CBD.
Something being industrial doesn’t mean it can’t be organic. Hemp grown organically without pesticides and chemical/biological tampering is organic. But it still needs to be processed industrially.
All this means is that processing is done on a larger scale, taking the organic material and using industrial processes to create huge quantities of refined CBD for use in all of our products.
Full Spectrum CBD is typically made up of all of the various compounds within the hemp plant.
This includes CBD as well as other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids; all of which can work together in an 'entourage effect' and are believed to provide more therapeutic benefits.
CBD Isolate is CBD in its purest form and doesn't contain all of the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids of the full spectrum CBD. For some users, this may make the use of CBD more effective.
We use Full Spectrum CBD in all of our CBD Oils and Isolate CBD in our eliquids.
All of our CBD is extracted from hemp grown in the EU and the USA on fully regulated and certified farms.
No! CBD has no psychoactive properties, and is a natural supplement.

However, as the popularity and awareness of CBD has grown, there have been various studies about what kind of conditions CBD can be used for.
We cannot make specific recommendations.
With any supplement, you should start low and increase the dose gradually over time.
CBD is made by extracting CBD oils from hemp plants, and then using heat and evaporation to remove impurities. Nothing needs to be added, only taken away.
The main two types of CBD currently are full spectrum and isolate. You can learn more about the differences between these tow types of CBD in the next question.
We only use CBD crystals which come with recognised certification.

Most research suggests that there are no negative side effects of CBD. All CBD does is regulate the receptors across your body. If you feel thirsty after use, it’s because you are dehydrated. Feeling tired means you’re fatigued. CBD doesn’t cause these feelings. All it does is ensure homeostasis across your endocannabinoid receptors.
